LandSmart® is a regional, collaborative program developed by RCDs to promote productive lands and thriving streams. LandSmart programs and services available in your watershed may include:
- Plans – Developing plans to help you manage your resources purposefully
- Carbon Farming Plans – Develop plans to help you increase carbon sequestration and reduce greenhouse gas emissions
- On-the-Ground – Implementing projects and best management practices to improve property and habitat
- Water Resources – Providing local solutions for water security to rural landowners and agriculturalists.
- Education – Inspiring natural resource conservation action through on the land opportunities.
- Kids – Involving the next generation in stewardship and connecting them with our local food systems.
